The traditional Hotel Argo will provide you comfort staying in a family environment with friendly atmosphere. It is located 100m from the beach of Platis Gialos, on the south side of Mykonos Island, 4 km from Chora (Town). Platis Gialos is famous for its well-organized beach where you can find a lot of restaurants, mini markets and water sports. From the beach you can take small boats (like taxi boats) and visit the most famous beaches of Mykonos: Paraga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari, and Elia. Also you can go on foot to other beaches like Psarou (that has a diving center), Paraga and Paradise.

In the event of cancellation 1 to 21 days prior to arrival date, cancellation fees are equal to the 50% of the total reservation cost (a minimum charge of 1 night).
In the event of Non Show cancelation fees are equal to 100% of the total
reservation cost.
In case of departure prior of the scheduled date, full cost of reservation is applicable.
In case of cancellation 22 days and more prior to arrival, the deposit would be fully refundable.

Area Information
Situated at a distance of 4,5 klm far from Chora at the South Platys Gialos is, following its greek name, a long and large sandy beach with clear blue-green cool water and a settlement with natural beauty.
Arriving here, the visitor comes across a fascinating bay, well protected, separated to three smaller sandy beaches by little capes, low hills and rocks, which form the successive beaches of Psarou, Platys Gialos and Aghia Anna and discern them from the more remote beach of Paraga at the Cafe Cape.
At the hill on the left of public road, at Portes, ruins of an ancient castle witness for the long history of the place.
The beach has good access from Chora, with buses running every half an hour; caiques and boats bring visitors to all the southern beaches of the island: Paraga, Paradise and Super Paradise, Agrari and Elia.

The shower (room 107) had a crack in the middle which resulted in a harsh hitting of water coming out of the large crack. The shampoo/conditioner/toiletries could be better given the prices have risen since our last visit. The bathroom smelt a bit ?eggy? as the units were a bit old and had a build up of grime. Wasn?t happy about the noise from the building work, especially having not being warned of this at the time of booking. The last thing you want is to have breakfast or enjoy the balcony views and then hear loud power tools going off! Could this not have been done/completed out of season time? Need a better toaster! Overall it was a nice stay and I?m glad we can back as location is great and overall you have a lovely hotel running, but there are a few areas that need improving based on our second visit. | 5 |

As always the staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the facilities clean and well maintained, and the food from the Avli restaurant which is linked to the hotel, well presented.
